2025 Donation of Schools Bags with Stationeries
to School Children in Sri Lanka

Our annual project of donating school bags and essential school supplies has enabled many children in Sri Lanka to continue their education. Last year, thanks to your generous support, we provided 150 students with fully equipped school bags that met their needs for the entire academic year. This initiative offered significant relief to families severely impacted by economic hardships.
This year, we are committed to continuing this important work, with a goal of supporting 200 students from low-income families. We will carefully select the most deserving children from Kuliyapitiya, Balangoda, and Chilaw—the hometowns of our resident monks. Each school bag will be thoughtfully prepared with the appropriate stationery tailored to the students’ grade levels.
These bags will be presented to the children on December 31, 2025, during a special event, which Bhante Pemaratana will attend.
Your continued support can make a lasting difference in the lives of these children and their families. Together, we can help ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed in their education.
You are invited to sponsor a bag with stationery enough for the whole academic year which costs $25.00.
