Knowing and Seeing the Dhamma

One-Day Meditation Retreat

with Bhante Chandananda

Following the Buddhist path involves first knowing the basic principles and then personally experiencing and verifying them for oneself. Without knowing, one cannot exoterically verify. Without experientially verifying, one cannot overcome ignorance and defilements.

“We are pleased to offer this one-day retreat as part of our Vassana period program series. It provides a valuable opportunity to receive in-person teachings and guidance from an erudite Buddhist monk. The retreat will include foundational instructions, guided sitting, standing, and walking meditations, Dhamma talks, group discussions, and opportunities for sharing and reflection
