2025 PBC Vesak Celebration & Eight Precepts Program /Half-Day Retreat
 
The full moon day of May is celebrated as Vesak, commemorating the Birth, Enlightenment, and Parinirvana of Gautama Buddha. This year, Vesak marks the beginning of the year 2569 in the Buddhist calendar. During this time, we express our gratitude to the Buddha and reaffirm our commitment to following the path shown by the Buddha towards enlightenment.
 
Two Events have been organized to commemorate this special day.

Vesak Ceremony at PBC
 
May 18:
Joint Vesak Ceremony with local Buddhist organizations in downtown
 
Vesak ceremony at PBC on May 11 includes an 8 precept program (half-day retreat) and a singing of devotional songs.
